Pocketfold Invites | Icon Order of the Day

Updated: Mar 1, 2020

Luci and Andrew's gorgeous pink and floral invitation collection, set inside this ravishing pearlescent antique pink pocketfold.

Luci & Andrew said their vows on the stunning island Inchcolm Weddings and had their ceremony at The Hope View with views across the Firth of Forth and the bridges that Luci's father loved so dearly.

With their guests needing to get the boat to and from the island they requested a timeline insert. I suggested an icon Order of the Day, with this style it is clear for all where they needed to be and when to ensure they made the trip across and back and enjoyed the full evening of activities.

I fashioned the icons to suit each timing and used the grey colour to allow the black text to stand out and matched the pink from the main invites.

The second insert consisted of the gift poem that Luci and Andrew had found and wanted to use and the accommodation and taxi information that would allow guests to organise their stay or make their way home.

Their last insert was the RSVP card with envelope. For consistency the design was carried across with the floral image making a small appearance on the top right hand corner. Fife Wedding Entertainments were able to compile a list of songs ahead of the day so we added a song request to the card, this allowed guest to choose a song that they would love to dance too.

All the inserts sit neatly within the pocket and the whole look is finished off with a bellyband that snuggly holds everything together. On the front Luci and Andrew opted for their initials only so it wasn't until their guests opened the invite that they knew whose wedding it was.

Luci and Andrew were thrilled with their stationery from Flutterbeeze they requested a table plan to be designed in the same style.

"We absolutely love our wedding invitations, we have had so many of our guests comment on how beautiful they are. Kirsty was very helpful and created exactly what we wanted. Thank you Kirsty."

If you would like to enquire more about this design, then pop a message via the contact me button. If pink and coral are not your chosen colours these can easily be changed to suit with a different colour palette.
